Indian Casino Near Galt Ca
Centred in United States, (in the state of California), Lodi is a big town containing a populace of 55000 inhabitants. The well-established casino Lodi Casino in Lodi of course offers a variety of slot machine games along with plenty of gambling tables. But did you realise that concerts, snacks, surprise games or happy hours are organised all year? Project Description The United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) accepted 36 acres of land into trust in February 2017 for the benefit of the Wilton Rancheria Indian Tribe (Tribe) for the development of a proposed casino resort project in the City of Elk Grove. Because Indian casinos have to be on, well, Indian land, there aren’t all ideally located in terms of population. For example, tiny Bishop, California, with less than 4,000 people, has a casino, while San Francisco does not. And there are four casinos near Fresno, whereas San Jose, (twice its population), has none.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) has completed an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) that analyzes the potential environmental effects of Wilton Rancheria’s (Tribe’s) application for a fee-to-trust transfer and casino project to be located in Sacramento County, CA. The EIS evaluates a range of alternatives, including projects at the Elk Grove Mall site, the Twin Cities site near Galt, and the Historic Rancheria site. The BIA served as Lead Agency for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
The BIA issued a Notice of Availability of the Draft EIS on December 29, 2015 which initiated a 45-day public review period.
A public hearing on the project was held at the Chabolla Community Center, located at 600 Chabolla Ave., in Galt, California on Friday, January 29, 2016.
