The young lady falls in love with Renée’s confident, Maurice Agnelet, a handsome lawyer 10 years elder. He has other relationships; she’s crazy for him. Shareholder of the Casino, Agnès wants to sell her family heritage to become independent, but her mother stubbornly refuses. A riddled game empties the casino’s vaults. Renée is threatened. The shadow of the mafia and Fratoni, the dodgy boss of a competing casino who is trying to take over the Palais de la Méditerranée are behind these misdeeds.
